Wrapping up a Beautiful Year
Well 2016 is a wrap and what a wonderful, beautiful year it was. I am completely humbled at any successes I had and contribute it all to YOU, my clients. A little honesty here, one year ago was drastically different. I didn't have the year I had hoped to have and struggled to get Christmas presents for my kids and cover my bills. I second guessed if I should even be doing this anymore. But deep down I knew this was mine and I wasn't going to let it go without a real fight. I reflected on what was different and realized that June's first year of life took up most of my energy. I wasn't able to give everything to my business like I had previously been able to. So in 2016, I re-focused and poured myself into my work. The results are in and this year surpassed my expectations. I just wrapped up my busiest season to date and I sit here with 16 weddings on the books.
If I linger very long on the realization that I get to do what I love for a living, the emotions are overwhelming. Thank you isn't enough. Thank you to my couples who trust me with the most important day of your lives. Thank you to my families who trust me with your children, smiles, and memories. Thank you to my followers for always being a fan. Thank you to my family for your encouragement. Thank you Justin. <3 Nothing would be possible without you.
Much like we wrapped up the year, we wrapped up many gifts and orders. As you can see, June was a huge help (but not really). Jubilee helped organize and tie ribbons, and Joey helped me deliver the packages to local clients. It was a family effort and took a few days to complete, but it felt mighty wonderful to read the thank you texts, emails, and posts. This must be what Santa feels :D
If you're reading this, thank you. Have a wonderful holiday season and a glorious 2017
